For the second year in a row, ACCEO’s relay race is a great success
Montreal, September 8, 2014 – ACCEO Solutions Inc., a Canadian leader in IT consulting services and in business and financial solutions for SMBs, raised nearly $40 000 for community social pediatrics, a cause championed by Dr. Gilles Julien. The funds were collected through ACCEO’s second annual relay race, which took place on Saturday, September 6.
More than 60 runners left from Montreal, Drummondville, and Quebec to follow one of the five routes available (the routes were between 51 km and 61 km long) in order to ultimately meet up at the finishing line, in Trois-Rivières.
The relay race, which was launched in 2013 as part of the Un peu plus d’amour que d’ordinaire (“a little more love than usual”) campaign, secured nearly $40 000, which will be distributed among four community social pediatrics centres (CSPCs) in Quebec, Ville Saint-Laurent, Matawinie-Ouest, and Gatineau. CSPCs help give needy children the chance to develop their full potential. The directors of the CSPCs that will be receiving the money raised participated in the race as well.
