Montréal (Québec), July 23, 2009 – GFI Solutions Group Inc. “GFI”, a Canadian leader in the field of IT consulting services to companies, is proud to partner with the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation for the 9th consecutive year. As part of the Pedal for kids event, a group of thirty people at GFI pedaled in unison on June 12th through the streets of Montreal on a giant bicycle to join forces to help sick children.
The organizing committee at GFI for this event rallied the troops throughout the company, which counts close to 1,000 employees, in organizing several activities to raise more than $21,000 this year for the Foundation.
During the last 17 years, more than $7.2 million has been raised for The Children’s to purchase life-saving medical equipment and fund major projects that contribute to the high level of care provided to its young patients.
