Consulting firm garners 2nd award this month, following its Mercuriades win

Montréal, April 18th, 2007 – Leading IT consulting company, GFI Solutions, is pleased to announce that it has won the Desjardins Entrepreneurship Prize, in the “Financial and Social Performance, Western Québec Region” category. The award was presented to GFI yesterday afternoon during the “Grands Enjeux SECOR / Les Affaires” event in Montréal. GFI had also recently won a Mercuriades award for “Financial, Real Estate and Professional Services”, during the 27th annual Mercuriades event, which took place last week.

According to its website, Desjardins recognized GFI for its contributions to the consulting sector: “The company has steadily grown despite the ups and downs of the information technology industry, allowing it to be involved in the community through a large number of activities, sponsorships and donations to a variety of organizations.”
