The President and Chief Executive Officer is selected for his leadership in the acquisition of Bell Business Solutions Inc.

Montreal (Quebec), February 12, 2009 – GFI Solutions Group Inc. ( “GFI”), a Canadian leader in the field of information technology (IT) consulting services for business, is proud to announce that Mr. Gilles Létourneau, President and Chief Executive Officer of GFI, has been selection as one of three finalists in the 2009 edition of the “SGF – CEO of the Year Award” by the Association of Quebec Technologies (AQT) on the occasion of its “Vision CEO” event.  Mr. Létourneau was selected because of the leadership he demonstrated in connection with the acquisition and integration of Bell Business Solutions Inc. in July 2008, and for this contribution which influenced the ICT industry in Quebec. The CEO of the year will be announced on February 19th at the Hotel Fairmont Tremblant.

Through the acquisition and integration of Bell Business Solutions, GFI expanded its range of products and IT services by integrating several vertical markets. Meanwhile, the acquisition enabled GFI to expand its presence across Canada. In addition to its head office located in Montreal’s Multimedia City, GFI has offices in Paris, Toronto, Winnipeg, Quebec City and Sherbrooke. Its revenues rose from CAD$47.2 million in 2007 to CAD$80 million in 2008. The number of employees at GFI nearly doubled during the period of 2007 to 2008, increasing from 398 to 750 employees.

GFI is ranked among the four major IT companies in Quebec and within the top 25 in Canada. The newly acquired markets have enabled GFI to increase its potential sales for cross-selling and to becoming a major player in Canada in terms of integrated management solutions for enterprise resource (ERP), in terms of consulting, design, implementation and support.
